Well folks, it's that time of year when everyone is talking about what they thought were the best games of last year. Without further ado and in no particular order, here are our choices for the best games of 2015.

Metal Gear Solid 5 - The Phantom Pain (Multiplatform):Hideo Kojima has spent practically his entire time in the video game industry creating the Metal Gear series and MGS5 marks the end of that saga. 'Phantom Pain' is a magnificent opus that perfectly reflects Kojima's penchant for "meta gaming." While the game's characters are struggling with a lingering phantom pain from the previous games events, we as the audience are as well; we must come to terms with, that for better or worse, this is the last true MGS game we will ever play.

The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt (Multiplatform):What do you get when you combine an absolutely gorgeous open-world RPG, with top-notch story telling, and one of the best consumer-conscious developers? The Witcher 3, that's what. Within 15 minutes of starting the game you can tell that CD Projekt has made something really special. If more developers had the work ethic and appreciation for their consumers as these guys do, the video game industry would be a whole lot better place.

Bloodborne (PS4):If you thought that the sequel to Demon Souls & Dark Souls wasn't going to be simply incredible, you were wrong. Rather than retreading more of the same (I'm looking at you Dark Souls 2), Bloodborne shakes up the formula of the "Souls" series while keeping true to it's punishing roots. Throw in a wonderfully beautiful, yet horrific gothic setting and you have yourself a winner. If you've got a PS4, you owe it to yourself to play what is hands down the best system exclusive title it has to offer.

Life is Strange (Multiplatform):In previous years we've selected a game that has elicited an emotional response from us (this is code for "made us cry like babies"), and this year is no different. Life is Strange is a wonderful story about friendship, that really sucks you into the world and lives of the characters. But be ready for a gut punch or two, especially that ending. Oh, and I forgot to mention that the game has probably one of the best licensed soundtracks of all time (not to mention some great original compositions as well).
