Japanese clothing giant Uniqlo (they have numerous outlets through out the US) have announced that they will be releasing 20 Nintendo themed t-shirts this May. But, what makes these shirts extra cool is that neither Nintendo or Uniqlo designed them, they were in fact designed by fans from around the world.
After receiving over 16,000 submissions, 20 of them were chosen with three of them being singled out as being the best of the best. The designers of those three shirts each received a cash prize and a Miyamoto autographed Nintendo Switch.
The t-shirts will be released on May 19th in Japan and retail (like all Uniqlo products) for the affordable price of 1,500yen.Sadly, no official announcement has been made with regards to a US release of these awesome shirts. To see these stylish t-shirts for yourself head on over to Uniqlo's website.
UPDATE - May 12th: Thanks to reader, Matthew Issac Lean for letting us know that Uniqlo has recently announced that US sales will begin on May 18th. Make sure you get yourself to your nearest Uniqlo as these shirts are sure to sell out fast!
